About Me
I am Christian R. Lebrón León, and for over 25 years, I have been on a mission to promote equity, justice, and integrity in the workplace. For me, compliance is not just about following rules; it’s about building a foundation for ethical and prosperous organizations. My journey has taken me from federal investigations to guiding private sector leaders, and along the way, I’ve learned that trust, transparency, and integrity are the pillars of lasting success.
I grew up in Puerto Rico, where I witnessed firsthand the impact of justice—and the lack of it—in the workplace. Those early experiences shaped my commitment to ensuring that every employee is treated with respect and dignity. Today, through my blog, I continue to share ideas, stories, and practical advice to inspire individuals and organizations to embrace integrity as a way of life.
Education and Certifications
| My Experience |
With over two decades of experience, I have developed a deep understanding of labor relations, federal and state laws, and compliance strategies. I have conducted investigations, developed training programs, and addressed complex human resources issues across various industries. But more than that, I’ve learned that the most effective solutions are rooted in equity and ethical leadership.
Media Appearances
- I have had the privilege of appearing on Telemundo, 9News, and various radio shows to educate the public about labor rights and compliance. Here are some videos:
Radio Appearances
I was a frequent guest on several Spanish-language radio shows in Colorado, where I discussed labor rights and compliance.
Hablemos Hoy (Onda 1150 AM)
This radio show, moderated by Rodolfo José Cárdenas, deals with news and topics that affect the Hispanic community in Colorado.
Derecho Total (Radio Luz 1650 AM)
This long-running radio show, moderated by Milos Sanchez, has been fighting for the rights of the Hispanic community in Colorado since 1994.
My Faith and My Family
I am a practicing Catholic, and my faith has been a source of strength and guidance in my personal and professional life. I come from a family deeply committed to the Church and Christian values. My father, Marcelino Lebrón Romero, is a Permanent Deacon in the Catholic Church, and his dedication to service and the community has been a constant inspiration in my life. My mother, Marta León Martínez, has been a pillar of love and support.
I have three siblings who have also been a fundamental part of my life:
- Mitchell David: His name has Anglo-Saxon origins and means “Who is like God?” The name David, of Hebrew origin, means “beloved of God” or “dear.”
- Joel Omar: The name Joel, of Hebrew origin, means “The Lord is God.” Omar, in its most widespread Arabic form, means “long life” or “man of long life.”
- Nicole Marie: The name “Marie” is of Hebrew origin and means “beloved of God” or “she who is loved by God.” Marie can also mean “love” or “beloved.”
| With my wife Gloribel |
I am married to my wife, Gloribel Rodríguez Borrero. She has been my life partner since 1994 (when we were in 11th grade), my greatest support in this mission to promote integrity, and the person whom God has chosen for me. Together we have built a family filled with love and values, inspired by the principles of our faith. We have three wonderful children:
- Yeshua (born 2020), whose name means “YHWH is salvation” or “The Lord saves” and is Jesus in the extinct Aramaic language.
- Emanuel (born 2012), whose name means “God with us” in Hebrew.
- Christian Gadiel (born 2008), whose name means “follower of Christ” and “God is my fortune.”
I lived in Colorado for 20 years, where I had the opportunity to grow professionally and contribute to the community. Currently, I reside in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico, where I continue my mission to promote integrity and justice, guided by the values of my Catholic faith and the example of my parents.
Final Reflection
Small acts of courage—speaking up, rejecting dishonesty—are the seeds of lasting change. Each of us has the power to influence our communities. Let’s commit to trust, equity, and justice. Because the battle for integrity is a battle for a better society.
